Welcome back from vacation...hope everyone had the opportunity to have some great family time together!!  Sometimes it can be hard to get back into the swing of school...getting up early, focusing on learning all day, and following school rules.  Encourage your child to get to bed at a reasonable time, eat a healthy breakfast and come to school ready to learn!

One of the things that can be challenging is scheduling appointments around school hours, but it's important to do that if at all possible.  This way you can avoid your child being pulled out of school and they can get their full day of learning in!  One of the most important parts to your child being successful in school in school is to be here each and every day, on time, for the full day.  Learning occurs until the very end of the day...and we don't want your child to miss out if they leave early...the last hour of school is just as important as the first and middle hours!  Thank you for working with us to make your child's school year be the best it can be!

The following is a list of school hours for the schools in our district:

Friendship Village School:    8:30am - 2:45pm

Prescott Memorial School:   8:45am - 3:00pm

Union Elementary School:   8:45am - 3:00pm

Warren Community School: 8:45am - 3:00pm

Miller School:   8:45am - 3:00pm

Medomak Middle School:   7:40am - 2:00pm

Medomak Valley High School:  7:40am - 2:00pm

Thanks for making sure your child is in school during these hours!!
