Changes to eligibility criteria, deadlines and other conditions are updated by the agency sponsoring the scholarship. Students are responsible for obtaining the most up-to-date application requirements.
To aid in your scholarship applications we suggest the following tips:
• Read the directions carefully and check the eligibility requirements, deadline dates and return instructions on EACH application.
• Submit all applications in ink. Remember that the presentation of your information will influence the consideration given your application. Make applications neat and readable. You may want to do a draft of the application first before finalizing it in ink on the application itself.
• Most applications require a high school transcript. Be sure to submit your request for a transcript from the Guidance Office at least two days before the scholarship deadline.
• Please read the application carefully to determine if a letter of recommendation is required from a counselor or teacher.
